Juicing - Fat, Sick, & Nearly Dead

This might seem a little crazy to you, but I've decided to buy a Breville Ikon Multi-speed Juice Fountain and take the 60 day challenge.  You can find the documentary and details at www.jointhereboot.com.

The Book of Daniel Chapter 1
...But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself...

...12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink...

...15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king’s meat...
...17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams...

Jessica's Graduation January 5, 2012

I apologize that there aren't many pictures.  My camera decided to stop working.
These pictures are from Kristin, my ex's girlfriend.

My daughter lost her way a few times while in high school.  It may have taken her a few extra years to graduate but I'm sure glad she never gave up and finished such a great accomplishment.  I'm so PROUD of her.

2012 New Year's Resolution

Less sittin' - More pedallin'!!!  Planning on scheduling at least one bike ride 25+ miles each month
and yes, I want to try for the Hotter n Hell Hundred in August.
Another goal is to buy a road bike (not talking myself out of it this year)!  With that said the 3rd goal is to really get into the Dave Ramsey plan and get my financial goals mapped out.

Thanks to Conroe Schwinn for always keeping my pedal machine in working order!

My niece, Faith George, isn't she adorable?

Day 24...Thanksgiving...

Thankful for the abundance of food and all those that prepared it.  Thankful for those that were part of the cleaning crew.  Thankful for all the George's and those that make the Thanksgiving Feast memorable each year.  Thankful for my dad, sister & family, and brother & family and the quality time that we get to spend each year.  Thankful that my sister is disciplined and got me up at the crack of dawn to go walking at the track with her.  Thankful for the walk to the park after lunch and grateful that the kids are not too grown to play.  Thankful for safety - 47 people traveled to my granny's house today or sometime this week and Heavenly Father watched over each family member.  Many more family members traveled all over the US and they are safe as well.  I'm also thankful for my mom and her family.  Thankful for my granny's health.  She is in her mid-eighty's and still going strong.  Thankful for Buddy, our chocolate lab, and the fun times we have with him.  He loves to play fetch and take rides in the car.  Thankful for health, safety, family, friends, pets, abundance, and CHOCOLATE PIE!  Nuff Said!!!

Day 23...

I have 12 minutes left of the day to say what I'm grateful for.  I am so thankful for the days that I can spend with my sister.  I enjoyed playing UNO with her, Brooke, and Kody.  I'm thankful for my dad and that he is conveniently always around when I need him and that he is knowledgeable in cars.  He had to replace my power window motor today.  I'm thankful for doctors and nurses that have studied so that they can help others.  I'm especially grateful for Debbie, my Nurse Practicioner, that found out I was low on vitamin D and subscribed me Celebrex.  I have felt so much better these past few days.  We even had a cold front this morning and I was pain free.  That's something to shout about!!!  Thankful for an aunt that I can chat with on the phone.  Today was a good day!

Day 22...

Thankful for a job and a paycheck.  I just ordered Kody's birthday and Christmas present.  He is going to have a GREAT December.  I almost waited too late for his Christmas.  It will arrive between Dec 16 - 21.  I'm so excited.  I can't wait.  Love birthdays!  Today is one of my student's special day.  We are having chocolate cake with chocolate icing and chocolate chips.  He picked it out.  He also picked out Kit Kats and I have a little surprise for him, as well.  Today is a half day and the holidays begin!  What a great day to be ALIVE!  And yes, it's not 5:00 am, yet.  I took Mucinex D last night so I've been up since 3:00 but hey, I'm thankful I can breathe, again.  I'm also thankful that the Vitamin D and Celebrex are working.  My body is not in as much pain as it was two weeks ago.  There is much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Oh, the places you may be...
